On last night's South Park, disaster struck. The internet disappeared. Stan's father couldn't look at porn! His mom couldn't check her boring old email! And, most ominously and amusingly, television news was unable to find any information to report on.

Daimler's long term corporate credit rating was upgraded today by S&P, from a BBB+ to an A-. Thomson Financial News (via CNN Money) quotes the S&P report saying "it expects Mercedes-Benz cars to be able to improve profitability further, based on the new models available and the better resilience to adverse economic trends generally attributed to premium cars, despite the weakening of the U.S. automotive market, where about one-fifth of Mercedes-Benz cars are sold." Interestingly enough, while the U.S. courts continue to experience difficulty in prosecuting terrorists even with mounds of damning evidence, the U.K. seems to be doing quite well in prosecuting terrorists with but meager evidence.
